SUNSET VILLA AT BLUE FOUNTAIN

A luxurious villa at Blue Fountain, atop Union Island's Mount Olympus, at the Heart of the Grenadines Islands.  Sunset Villa has two bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and an adjacent bungalow for a total capacity of up to three couples.

Sunset Villa is within the Blue Fountain gated estate.  The villa is quiet and well-separated from the world in general.  The location of the property, approximately seven minutes from the village of Clifton and five minutes to golden beaches, is ideal.  Trade breezes are virtually constant at this altitude. If you turn off the air conditioning at night, when all is quiet, the steady beat of the waves far below will lull you to sleep. Our extensive, lush gardens are popular with hummingbirds, birds and butterflies. There are beautiful open beaches in the area. Of course, the villa has its own large swimming pool.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned and include a king-sized bed and comfortable seating.  In addition to the two bedrooms with ensuite bath, the villa has a large living room, a formal dining area, a large "eat in" kitchen, a laundry and service area plus generous closet space.  The bungalow accommodates one or two guests with its own bathroom.

As well as the large swimming pool and landscaped deck with appropriate lounge seating, there is a wide surrounding verandah with breathtaking vistas of the Caribbean Sea on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. As the photos show, the verandah offers a large capacity "country dining table" when outdoor meals are wished.

The villa's furnishings and appointments are of superior quality. European furniture and custom-made cabinetry are used throughout.  Appliances (such as washing machine, oven, refrigerator, air-conditioners, etc.) are American and European from the best manufacturers.  A CD player is included, with a variety of music available – you may want to carry some of your own music to supplement our collection.

We offer a minimum period of rental – 4 days – with several different rental options.  Prices include Government Tax.



Luxury accommodation includes:

The villa, cook, waitress, maid for cleaning, laundry, ironing, preparation of breakfast, a car (Mule) and gardener.  Shopping will be carried out by the guests.

Per night rate – US$460.00 for 2 – 4 guests

Basic accommodation includes:

The villa, maid prepares breakfast, sets the table for lunch and dinner, cleaning, laundry, ironing, a car (Mule) and gardener. Shopping will be carried out by the guests.

Per night rate – US$360.00 for 2 – 4 guests

Stay and sail package:  4 + 2 days – this is based on 4 guests for a combination of four (4) days in the villa in luxury accommodation and two (2) additional nights aboard one of our finest yachts (for more information on the yacht, please contact us). Of course, you may stay longer and choose which experience you would like to have first, land or sea.

Villa package – US$1,840.00
Yacht package – US$2,000.00 (on the boat, all food and non-alcoholic beverages are included.)

Total for this package is US$3,840.

Bungalow accommodation includes:

The bungalow with king size bed and its own bathroom may be rented in addition to the villa for two more guests.  Service will be either ‘luxury’ or ‘basic’, depending on which service has been chosen for the villa.

Per night in bungalow ‘luxury’ – US$180.00
Per night in bungalow ‘basic’ – US$160.00

Arrival Dinner and Breakfast

We recognize that arriving travelers will not wish to be concerned with meal preparation. Therefore, for guests staying 10 nights or longer we will provide, at no added cost, a pleasant, complimentary welcoming dinner (wine and beverage optional) on the evening of your arrival and breakfast on your first morning.  These arrangements must be made at least one week prior to arrival.

Union Island has at least four supermarkets and a colourful, fresh-produce marketplace, as well as a French baker, and shops that specialize in wine and gourmet foods prepared daily.  We highly recommend that guests also enjoy the cuisine and ambiance of various excellent restaurants in the village.

For fishing excursions and private day trips aboard luxury yachts, just ask. We have a variety of boats in our fleet to satisfy all your nautical whims.

Sunset Villa welcomes families with children 12 years and older.

Telephone, fax and internet services (general office services, too) are available from a number of locations in the village.

Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings.

Our staff is cheerful, well-trained and professional in their work.  Gratuities are not included in our prices. If you wish our guidance on appropriate amounts, please ask us in confidence.

   * Accounts are settled in US Dollars.
    * A 50% non-refundable deposit (including taxes) is due on confirmation.
    * Final payment of the balance (including taxes) is due 60 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. We suggest that all travellers secure trip interruption insurance.
    * Rates quoted on this web site are subject to change but we will confirm them in writing on request before you reserve.
    * Payments may be made by bank draft or money order or wire transfer. Contact us for details regarding your preferred method.
